Questions
Who writes this?
Andrew Galarneau, The Buffalo News food editor and restaurant critic for 13 years, went independent on December 1, 2023 to see whether readers would pay for a steady stream of reliable, actionable eating intelligence about Buffalo. They did. Read more about Four Bites.
What's the difference between the Sunday News and a review?
The Sunday News is the weekly letter: a feature, Ask the Critic answers, events, and the week's food news. It's free. The review is the week's deep dive on one restaurant, with photographs of the dishes, and it's for Extra subscribers.
Can I read on my phone?
Yes. The site is built for phones first, and you can add it to your home screen like an app. Sign in once and it remembers you.
I subscribed on fourbites.net. Do I need to pay again?
No. Your subscription moves with you. Use "email me a sign-in link" on the sign-in page with the address you subscribed with.
How do I cancel?
Any time, from your account page. Extra runs to the end of the period you paid for and then drops to the free list. You keep the Sunday News.
